EDWARD J. GROARKE was formerly a Deputy Nassau County Attorney and associate at the New York City law firm of Brady & Tarpey, P.C. prior to becoming an associate and then partner with this firm. He has a broad civil litigation background with a specialty in labor and employee benefits law. He holds a B.A. from St. Francis College, an M.A. from Brooklyn College, a law degree from St. John’s University, and a Masters in Law and Masters in Labor Law from New York University. Mr. Groarke serves on the Adjunct Faculty of Hofstra Law School where he lectures in “Public Sector Labor Law”. Mr. Groarke was admitted to practice law in New York State in 1980. He is also admitted before the United States Supreme Court, United States Court of Appeals for Second Circuit, and the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.
