Taylor Waites joined Colleran O’Hara & Mills as an Associate in 2018. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Waites spent two and a half years working in the General Counsel’s office of the New York State Department of Labor (NYSDOL), where she represented the State in labor standards cases before the New York State Industrial Board of Appeals. During law school, Ms. Waites worked as a Law Clerk for the Long Island Labor Advisory Council (LILAC), and for the union-side labor law firm of O’Donoghue & O’Donoghue, LLP in Washington, D.C., where she focused on public policy and government affairs. Ms. Waites graduated with a B.A. in Government & Politics from the University of Maryland, College Park, and received her J.D. from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University.
